 Greenstar provides a broad range of recycling services and material reprocessing for both local authorities and the private sector for a wide range of materials including cardboard, paper, plastic, steel, aluminium cans, and glass.
Greenstar provides recycling and reprocessing services through our network of materials recovery and recycling facilities in Lincolnshire and the North East.
Lincolnshire
Our 11 acre Skegness site includes a materials recovery facility, film plastic reprocessing and a plastic bottle autosort machine with a capacity of over 35,000 tonnes. The site accepts segregated, mixed and commingled materials from regional local authorities and commercial/industrial suppliers
The state of the art facility includes:
- A fully automated MRF which sorts and bales materials from local authorities and commercial suppliers.
- A state of the art plastic bottle auto-sort plant, which sorts and separates plastic bottles for further processing at our Hong Kong facility.
- One of only two film plastic processing plants in the UK, the plant segregates, cleans and extrudes plastic film using advanced laser screen technology. The recycled plastic is then sold into the UK manufacturing market.
Lancashire
Our Lancashire site delivers the most cost effective materials recovery facility in the uk, servicing over 185,000 household collections, and work with 19 authorities throughout the UK.
The state of the art site includes:
- Fully automated materials recovery facility.
- 45,0002 foot under one roof.
- A capacity of over 65,000 tonnes of recyclables per year.
