    Queen’s Award for Enterprise for plastics recycling pioneer.
    Redcar, Cleveland, 21st April 2009 – ‘Typical British ingenuity and application’ that enabled a modest red brick Teesside factory to lead the world in producing food-grade recycled plastic has been rewarded with a rare Royal honour.

    Greenstar WES has secured a contract to supply Nampak with food-grade recycled HDPE to produce bottles for Marks and Spencer's organic milk bottles. The Teeside-based recycler will annually send some 6,000 tonnes of rHDPE to Nampak after M&S approved the material for use in the Dairy Crest-supplied bottles.
